Taking Your Nonprofit Stories from Boring 2 Brilliant

We’ve learned that storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to engage supporters, right?

As you are in the midst of putting together your fall fundraising campaign…not just the letter, but the whole campaign – the Tweets, the Facebook page updates, the website updates – make sure you are finding and sharing powerful examples of your impact.

Please.

I want your campaign to be successful and I know for certain that knowledge alone does not cause people to take action. People know that there are homeless children or out of work veterans in our communities, but they don’t often do anything to help solve those issues. .

Both sides of the brain have to be engaged for action to happen. So connect your listeners, readers, social media followers with engaging mission moments (check out my post on this) that give us a glimpse into the lives of one or a few people whose lives are different because of your work.

On August 30 I’ll deliver a webinar for Charity How To that will dive into the where to find stories as well as how to tell them so they truly inspire and move people. Taking Your Nonprofit Stories From Boring To Brilliant.

Join me for help in figuring out where to find great stories and tools to help you tell them better.

Here are two awesome storytelling examples I’ll share in the webinar. These are from charity:water:
Rachel’s gift. One year later.
Water? I’ve heard that before.
